Iwein Segers (°1980) is a man of many talents.
He started his career as stand-up comedian and cabaretier, and being a passionate music fan he plays some music himself. Recently however he has shifted his focus to acting.

In 2012 Iwein won his first big role in a feature film starring as Speck in Tot Altijd (aka Time of my Life) by Nic Bathazar. In the same year he appeared in 2 television series, Vermist, playing a former sect member, and Deadline 14/10, in which he played an extreme-right politician. Deadline 14/10 was succeeded by Deadline 25/5, in which Iwein also appeared.

In 2013 he starred in 2 feature films by Daniel Lambo, Traumland and Los Flamencos, and appeared in the television series Crème de la Crème.

In 2016 Iwein had a second guest role in Vermist, had a French speaking guest role in the Dutch series Flikken Maastricht and was one of the many dying characters in 13 Commandments by Maarten Moerkerke.

In 2017 he had a big role in Jan de Lichte. The series is expected to be released in 2018.
He was also part of the sketch program Kafka and the second season of Strikers, both aired in 2017.
Stijn Coninx offered Iwein a small part in his newest feature Don’t Shoot.

Iwein Segers also works as a voice actor.
He played the voice of Fozzie the Bear in the Flemish version of The Muppets.

Over a short period of time Iwein has grown to be a diverse actor who can handle a variety of characters.
Iwein speaks Flemish (mother tongue), French and English.
