Raf Reyntjens (°1975) is a director of fiction, commercials and music videos.

He graduated in 1999 from Belgium’s prestigious Royal Institute of Theatre, Cinema and Sounds in Brussels.

For his short films, Raf was rewarded numerous awards and nominations. His shorts, A Message from Outer Space and Tunnel Rat, both have Mathias Schoenaerts as lead actor.

In 2015 he took his talent a step further and completed his first feature film, Paradise Trips. The film won 3 Ensors at the Ostend Film Festival and was nominated at Palm Springs International Film Festivals.

Raf is now developing his second feature film, Life after Zoro, for which he developed the screenplay at the Torino FilmLab.

In 2018 he will be co-directing his first TV series for commercial broadcaster VTM.

Raf is also an acknowledged director of commercials, which he either directs by himself or in cooperation with his partner in crime Roel Mondelaers, with whom he formed the duo Raf&Roel. They are known for their unmistakably good sense of humour. He has already collected more than 20 awards nationally and internationally for his commercials.
Music videos complete his curriculum. He worked for many artists, the most popular being Papaoutai for the Belgian singer Stromae. The clip got awarded on several occasions and is regarded as the most popular French music video ever.
